  • HB 1112 (Rep. Rosemary Brown, R-Monroe/Pike): Requires the Department of Education to identify and suspend all unnecessary or duplicative reporting mandates on public schools.

  • SB 494 (Sen. Kim Ward, R-Westmoreland): Repeals the provision in the Flood Insurance Education and Information Act that requires the Insurance Commission to present an annual report to the General Assembly on the flood insurance consumer education plan.

  • HB 64 (Rep. William Adolph, R-Delaware): Requires the State Board of Psychology and the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to have at least one hour of continuing education in the assessment, treatment and management of suicide risks.
  • HB 325 (Rep. Mark Keller, R-Cumberland/Perry): Updates the Auctioneer Licensing and Trading Assistant Registration Act by repealing and reorganizing a number of provisions and eliminates the Auction House license.
  • HB 603 (Rep. Seth Grove, R-York): Provides title protection for Marriage and Family Therapists and addresses a discrepancy in the composition of the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.

  • HB 582 (Rep. Martin Causer, R-Cameron/McKean/Potter): Increases the annual income limit for retired persons receiving social security or other pension to qualify for the discounted $10 vehicle registration fee.
  • HB 817 (Rep. Tommy Sankey, R-Cambria/Clearfield): Bridge designation: 1st Lieutenant Wendell Elbert Ross Memorial Bridge.

  • HB 175 (Rep. Neal Goodman, D-Schuylkill): Extends the application deadline for the Persian Gulf Veterans’ Bonus Program to Aug. 31, 2018.
  • HB 579 (Rep. Rick Saccone, R-Allegheny/Washington): Enhances requirements for precious metal dealers regarding transaction records, item retention and licensing status, purchases from minors and penalties.
  • HB 727 (Rep. Warren Kampf, R-Chester/Montgomery): Establishes mandatory Defined Contribution Plans for all future state employees and future school district employees.
  • HB 792 (Rep. Tom Killion, R-Delaware): Uses revenue from the Realty Transfer Tax to provide additional funding for the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement Fund.
  • HB 806 (Rep. Martin Causer, R-Cameron/McKean/Potter): Amends the Pennsylvania Farmland and Forest Land Assessment Act (Clean and Green) to prohibit the application of use values that result in assessments higher than fair market value.
  • HB 1038 (Rep. Mike Reese, R-Somerset/Westmoreland): Prohibits the use of electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards to purchase liquor, alcohol, tobacco or tobacco-related products and prohibits EBT use at any entity licensed by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
  • HB 1099 (Rep. John Maher, R-Allegheny/Washington): Establishes legal counsel for the Environmental Quality Board.
  • HB 1192 (Rep. William Adolph, R-Delaware): General Appropriations Act of 2015.
  • SB 293 (Rep. John Eichelberger, R-Blair/Cumberland/Franklin/Fulton/Huntingdon): Establishes a state registration process with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department to clarify the proper role of navigators and assisters who enroll individuals in health insurance exchanges.

  • HB 185 (Rep. Barry Jozwiak, R-Berks): Increases the penalty for the offense of trafficking of infants to a first degree felony.
  • HB 608 (Rep. Matt Baker, R-Bradford/Potter/Tioga): Allows the Department of Health to promptly add chemicals used to manufacture illegal drugs to the list of “precursor substances” under the Drug Act.
  • HB 954 (Rep. Kathy Rapp, R-Crawford/Forest/Warren): Prohibits the sales to and purchase of nicotine delivery products, such as e cigarettes, vape pens, by minors.
  • HB 1189 (Rep. Gerald Mullery, D-Luzerne): Expands the prohibition of use of tobacco products in schools to include nicotine products.

  • HB 398 (Rep. Thomas Killion, R-Delaware): Allows the vehicular transportation of leachate discharged from a municipal or private landfill’s collection and handling system.
  • HB 805 (Rep. Stephen Bloom, R-Cumberland): Amends the School Code regarding tenure, suspension of professional employees and appeals.
  • HB 824 (Rep. Scott Petri, R-Bucks): Prohibits the Commonwealth and its instrumentalities from disclosing confidential information related to a public safety official and his/her spouse, child or parent upon written request from the public safety official.
  • HB 854 (Rep. Anthony DeLuca, D-Allegheny): Requires pharmacy technicians to register with the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • HB 1071 (Rep. Ryan Warner, R-Fayette/Westmoreland): Amends the Development Permit Extension Act to clarify the coverage of certain development activity and the extension of the tolling period for permits.

  • HB 906 (Rep. Kate Harper, R-Montgomery): Amends the First Class Township Code regarding removal of elected township officers.
  • HB 907 (Rep. Chris Ross, R-Chester): Amends the Real Estate Tax Sale Law to establish standardized requirements for posting tax delinquent property prior to a potential or actual sale of the property.

  • HB 912 (Rep. Chris Ross, R-Chester): Amends the Consolidated County Assessment Law to clarify that buildings, whether or not permanently attached to land, water, gas, electric or sewer facilities, are subjects of taxation for real estate purposes.
  • HB 914 (Rep. Chris Ross, R-Chester): Amends the Sewage Facilities Act to remove a cap on the fee that municipalities may charge for a person installing a permit-exempt septic system.
